Find out moreDover Caravan Park is a small family run park on the edge of Staining village, set within rural surroundings on the outskirts of Blackpool. Peaceful countryside surrounds it, yet the seaside town of Lytham St Annes is a short distance away and the market town of Poulton-le-Fylde is close by.
It is a park of owner-occupied caravan holiday homes, and its website offered a range of new and pre-owned holiday homes to buy, each a country retreat away from the rush and bustle of everyday life. The later version of the site said the park was designed for the retired and semi-retired, with a relaxing countryside setting and many things to do in the local area.
The website called the location ideal for golfers: Staining Lodge Golf Course, 160 acres with a bar and restaurant, lies directly opposite the park. It also pointed to a bus stop with a regular service to Blackpool about five minutes' walk away, a small Co-op shop, a friendly village pub, The Plough, and plenty of fishing, cycling and walking nearby.
